To ensure a smooth and professional experience, all clients, collaborators, and partners are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the following policies before placing an order, booking a service, or requesting a collaboration.
01. Public Relations & PR Collaborations
Rorisang Lu welcomes considered creative collaborations, media opportunities, and public relations enquiries that align with the brand’s identity and creative vision.
- Minimum lead time: All PR requests must be submitted at least two months before the intended campaign, event, publication, or activation.
- Shipping costs: All shipping and courier costs for PR packages, garments, accessories, and other items are the responsibility of the recipient.
- Availability: All PR requests are subject to availability, scheduling, and approval.
- Confirmation: A request is not considered approved until written confirmation has been provided by Rorisang Lu.
- Planning: Requests should include the intended use, relevant dates, campaign details, and specific requirements.
Submitting a PR request does not guarantee product placement, gifting, loan approval, or collaboration.
02. Appointments & Consultations
All appointments, consultations, and fitting sessions must be arranged in advance.
- Booking notice: Appointments must be requested at least 72 hours in advance.
- Booking channels: Requests may be submitted via WhatsApp or email through the brand’s official contact channels.
- Confirmation: Appointments are only confirmed once acknowledged and approved by Rorisang Lu.
- Preparation: Clients should communicate the purpose of their appointment and any relevant requirements when booking.
- Availability: Requests made with less than 72 hours’ notice may not be accommodated.
Please allow sufficient time for consultations, measurements, fittings, and creative discussions.
03. Orders & Production Timelines
Each Rorisang Lu piece is approached with care, allowing time for design, preparation, construction, and finishing.
- Standard production time: Orders typically require approximately four weeks.
- Payment terms: A 50% deposit is required to commence production. The remaining balance is payable before collection or dispatch.
- Express orders: Clients requiring an order sooner than the standard four-week production timeline may request express production.
- Express fees: Express orders are subject to availability and an additional fee quoted individually according to urgency and production requirements.
- Custom designs: Timelines may vary depending on design complexity, fabric availability, embellishments, and fitting requirements.
- Planning ahead: Clients are encouraged to place orders well in advance of their intended wear date.
Express production is only confirmed once availability, the additional fee, and the revised timeline have been agreed upon.
04. Garment & Accessory Rentals
Selected Rorisang Lu garments and accessories may be available for rental, subject to availability and the terms agreed upon at booking.
- Rental rates: Fees are charged per day and may vary depending on the item, design, and value of the piece.
- Rental period: Collection and return dates must be agreed upon before the rental is confirmed.
- Additional days: Extensions beyond the agreed rental period incur additional daily charges at the applicable rate.
- Security deposits: A refundable rental security deposit may be required before collection. The amount and applicable conditions will be communicated before the booking is confirmed.
- Care and handling: All rented pieces must be handled responsibly and returned in the agreed condition.
- Availability: Rental requests are subject to confirmation and availability.
Damage, Loss & Late Returns
Clients are responsible for the reasonable care and timely return of rented items.
- Damage: Damage beyond ordinary wear and tear may result in a repair or restoration charge, based on the assessment and cost of the necessary work.
- Loss or irreparable damage: Where an item is lost or damaged beyond repair, the client may be responsible for its reasonable replacement or agreed compensation cost.
- Security deposit deductions: Where applicable, documented repair, replacement, or overdue rental charges may be deducted from the security deposit. Any remaining balance will be refunded.
- Late returns: Additional daily rental fees may apply when items are returned after the agreed deadline.
- Communication: Clients should notify Rorisang Lu as soon as possible if a delay, accident, or damage occurs.
Any applicable charges and rental conditions will be communicated before the rental is finalised. Charges will be assessed fairly and in accordance with the agreed rental terms and applicable law.
05. Styling & Creative Direction
Rorisang Lu offers styling and creative services for individuals, editorials, campaigns, events, and other creative projects.
- Styling fees: All styling services are subject to a professional fee quoted individually according to the project’s scope and requirements.
- Project scope: Fees may depend on duration, complexity, research, creative direction, preparation, and the number of looks or deliverables required.
- Additional expenses: Garment purchases, rentals, transport, courier services, location fees, and other project-related expenses may be charged separately.
- Consultation: Clients should provide a clear brief, intended dates, and relevant project details to facilitate an accurate quotation.
- Confirmation: The scope of work, fees, and deliverables must be agreed upon before the project commences.
Changes to the agreed brief or additional requests may require a revised quotation.
06. Photography Services
Rorisang Lu provides photography services for creative projects, editorials, campaigns, fashion, and other agreed assignments.
Half-Day Photography Package
BWP 2,500 | 4 hours
The half-day package includes a four-hour shooting session, subject to an agreed brief and schedule.
- Booking: Sessions must be arranged in advance and are subject to availability.
- Project brief: The concept, location, schedule, intended use, and deliverables must be discussed before the session.
- Additional shooting time: Sessions exceeding four hours may incur additional fees, agreed upon in advance.
- Production expenses: Travel, location hire, specialised equipment, models, styling, props, and other production costs are excluded unless expressly included in the quotation.
- Deliverables: The number and format of final images, editing requirements, and delivery timeline will be agreed upon before the project begins.
- Additional services: Extensive retouching, extended production, and specialised requirements may attract additional charges.
The BWP 2,500 rate covers the four-hour photography session. Additional services and production requirements will be outlined separately.
Photography Copyright & Usage Rights
- Copyright: Unless otherwise agreed in writing, copyright in photographs created by Rorisang Lu remains with the photographer or other applicable rights holder.
- Client usage: Clients receive permission to use the agreed final photographs for the purposes specified in their quotation or project agreement.
- Commercial use: Advertising, paid campaigns, product marketing, resale, third-party licensing, and other extended commercial uses must be discussed and agreed upon in writing. Additional licensing fees may apply.
- Portfolio and promotion: Rorisang Lu may request permission to feature completed work in its portfolio, website, social media, and promotional materials. Any agreed usage must respect the rights and permissions of clients, models, and other contributors.
- Credits: Where appropriate, clients are encouraged to credit Rorisang Lu when sharing photographs publicly.
- Editing and alterations: Significant alterations, resale, or redistribution of the images outside the agreed scope require prior written approval where applicable.
Usage rights, licensing, exclusivity, and any restrictions will be confirmed in the project agreement. Applicable copyright law and any separate written agreement take precedence over this general policy.
07. Payments & Financial Commitments
Rorisang Lu aims to maintain transparent payment arrangements across all products and services.
- Production deposits: A 50% deposit is required before garment or accessory production begins.
- Outstanding balances: The remaining balance must be settled before collection or dispatch unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Service fees: Styling, photography, rental extensions, express production, and supplementary services are charged according to the agreed quotation.
- Additional expenses: Any additional costs will be communicated before the client commits to the relevant service.
- Payment confirmation: Bookings and production timelines are confirmed in accordance with the agreed terms and payment arrangements.
Clients are encouraged to retain payment confirmations and relevant booking correspondence.
08. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds
We understand that circumstances can change. Rorisang Lu asks clients to communicate cancellations or rescheduling requests as early as possible.
Orders & Custom-Made Pieces
- Cancellation requests: Clients should submit cancellation requests in writing as soon as possible.
- Work already completed: Where an order is cancelled after work has commenced, charges may apply for work completed, materials purchased or committed, and other reasonable costs already incurred.
- Deposits: Deposits are applied to the agreed production costs and are not automatically refundable. Any refund will be assessed according to the stage of production, costs incurred, the agreement between the parties, and applicable consumer law.
- Completed orders: Custom-made or personalised items may be subject to specific cancellation and return conditions, which will be communicated before the order is confirmed.
- Production issues: If Rorisang Lu cannot fulfil an order as agreed, the available remedies, including any applicable refund, replacement, or revised timeline, will be discussed with the client in accordance with the agreement and applicable law.
Appointments & Services
- Rescheduling: Clients should provide as much notice as possible when requesting a change to an appointment or service date.
- Cancellations: Cancellation and refund arrangements for paid services will follow the terms provided at booking.
- Work in progress: Where a project has already commenced, fees may reflect the work completed and non-recoverable costs incurred.
- Changes to scope: Significant changes to a project may require a revised quotation and schedule.
Rentals
Rental cancellations, refunds, security deposits, and any applicable charges will be governed by the agreed rental terms provided before confirmation.
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights a client may have under applicable law.
09. Communication & General Terms
To maintain a clear and professional working relationship, the following terms apply across Rorisang Lu services.
- All enquiries, bookings, orders, and collaborations are subject to availability and confirmation.
- Clients are responsible for providing accurate measurements, briefs, deadlines, and other relevant information.
- Changes to the agreed scope of work or additional requests may affect pricing and timelines.
- Timelines may be affected by material availability, design complexity, production requirements, or circumstances beyond the brand’s reasonable control. Where possible, affected clients will be notified.
- Any exceptions to these policies must be agreed upon in writing.
- Project-specific quotations and agreements may contain additional terms applicable to the particular service.
